About Paige Anne:

I have been studying the energetic field, truly, my whole life. As I learn a new idea or technique, I can usually track some part of it back to sometime in my mid-teens. When I was sixteen, I used to lie on my sofa listening to classical music and noticing where the notes fell on my body. Later I learned about music and chakras and realized that I had been intuitively allowing the vibration of the music to align my chakras.

As I continue more deeply into my studies, I am learning that it is about following your intuition. If I am guided to do something from my heartspace, it is always the right thing to do.

There is nothing special about me that anyone else cannot do. We all have these gifts. The only difference is that I have chosen this as my life's work.

As a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, my approach to health is holistic and non-invasive - treating both physical and mental. Working to alleviate not only symptoms, but also the root of many ailments to restore a healthy balance in the body, Traditional Chinese Medicine uses acupuncture, herbs, nutritional counseling and other modalities in the treatment of various illnesses such as: stress, digestive disorders, PMS and gynecology, infertility, allergies, pain and sports injuries, migraine, anxiety and depression, addiction, weight management, low energy, insomnia, common cold and flu, health maintenance and much more!

Acupuncture needles are very fine needles that are virtually painless. Occasionally, one might experience a slight sensation, similar to that of a bug bite, upon insertion. This sensation disappears quickly and completely. But you will feel a sensation once the needles are inserted and manipulated or twisted. This sensation, referred to as qi, may feel like a dull ache, tingling, heaviness or itching. This is normal if not somewhat bizarre the first time!

Everyone asks me why I became an acupuncturist. So, here it goes: I became interested in Chinese Medicine after years of pain that resulted from a car accident. I turned to acupuncture only after trying medication, physical therapy, chiropractic, an epidural block, and was considering surgery. I doubted that acupuncture would help, but felt helpless and desperate. After only two months, I was able to exercise and was medicine free! I was stunned. I never thought it would work, but it did then and has continued to work for me as a patient and as a practitioner!

Upon learning more about Chinese Medicine, I found that it was useful for so much more than pain. From mental issues to indigestion, Chinese Medicine is a noninvasive and effective treatment that harmonizes the body and the mind, creating optimal health. I have been practicing for 8 ½ years and it still never ceases to amaze me!
